Noctuary

A voice-first dream journal

Say your dream
before it’s gone.

Noctuary is a voice-first dream journal. Say your dream the moment you wake, before it fades, and it is transcribed, tagged, and kept. See what recurs over time. Not a dream dictionary.

How it works

From a dream you’d have lost to a record you can actually read.

1

Say it

You wake with it still on you. Open Noctuary and say the dream out loud, before it dissolves. No typing at 3am.

2

It’s kept

Noctuary transcribes what you said and tags what was in it. The dream that used to vanish now lives somewhere you can return to. Back to sleep in seconds.

3

See it come back

Night after night becomes a record you can actually read. What recurs, what shows up together, the part you can’t hold in your head.

Why Noctuary

Speak, don’t type

A dream evaporates about ninety seconds after you wake. Noctuary is built for those ninety seconds: press record, say it, done. The one journal easy enough to actually keep.

A record, not an interpretation

What was in it, when, and how you woke up, in your own words. Noctuary reflects your record back to you. It never tells you what a dream “means”.

The first step to lucid dreaming

Every guide to lucid dreaming starts the same way: keep a dream journal so you remember more of your nights and start noticing their patterns. Noctuary makes that first habit effortless.

Yours and private

Your dreams are yours. We don’t sell your identity, and you can delete your account and data anytime.

Questions

Do I have to type out my dreams?+

No. That’s the whole point. You say the dream out loud and Noctuary transcribes and tags it for you. Typing paragraphs at 3am is why most dream journals die by the second week. Speaking one groggy sentence is easy enough to keep doing.

Can it help me lucid dream?+

Indirectly, and honestly. Every lucid-dreaming guide starts with the same instruction: keep a dream journal so you remember more of your dreams and start recognising their patterns. Noctuary makes that first step effortless. It doesn’t run reality checks or timers for you; it builds the recall habit those techniques depend on.

Does it tell me what my dreams mean?+

No, and that’s deliberate. Dream dictionaries give everyone the same answer. Noctuary reflects back what actually keeps happening to you: how often the same thing comes back, what it shows up alongside, how you tend to wake from it. The meaning, if there is one, is yours to draw.

What if I barely remember my dreams?+

That’s the normal case, and it’s why you speak instead of write. One line is a valid entry. People also tend to recall more once they start keeping a record, so the thin early weeks fill in on their own.

What does it cost?+

Noctuary is free to start. Voice capture, your journal, and your basic pattern view are included. Noctuary Pro ($39.99/yr) unlocks your written Reflection, deeper correlations, and your full history.

Is my data private?+

Yes. Your dreams are personal to you. We don’t sell your identity, and you can delete everything at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details.
