Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your region (and at least 13) to use Noctuary. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

2. Your account

You’re responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Let us know right away if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. What Noctuary is

Noctuary is a personal journal for logging your dreams and seeing patterns in your own entries over time. It is a tool for reflection and record-keeping. It is not a source of medical, financial, legal, psychological, or other professional advice, and it does not predict the future. Decisions you make are your own.

4. Subscriptions and payments

• Noctuary is free to use, with an optional Noctuary Pro subscription that unlocks additional features.
• Subscriptions are billed through your app store account at the price shown at purchase ($39.99/yr for Noctuary Pro). They renew automatically until canceled.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your app store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are handled according to the policies of the app store you purchased through.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to circumvent the security of the service.
• Reverse engineer, copy, or resell the app except as permitted by law.
• Use bots or automated means to access the service.

6. Your content

Your entries are yours. You grant us the limited permission needed to store and display them back to you and to operate the service. We don’t claim ownership of your journal, and we don’t sell it.

7. Intellectual property

Noctuary, its branding, and its software are owned by Hideaway Labs and its licensors. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the app for its intended purpose.

8. Termination

You may stop using Noctuary and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or to protect the service.

9. Disclaimers

Noctuary is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee uninterrupted service or any particular outcome from using the app.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hideaway Labs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “last updated” date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
