Noctuary is a private journal for logging your dreams. We collect the information needed to create your account and store your entries, and we use it to show you your own patterns over time. Your dreams are personal to you — we don’t sell your identity, and you can delete your account and data at any time.

Information you provide

• Account details, such as your email address, used to sign you in.
• Your journal entries — the symbols you log, the timestamps, mood words, and any optional location or notes you add.
• Onboarding answers you choose to share, used to personalize your experience.
• Messages you send us for support.

Information collected automatically

• Device and app information, such as device type and operating system.
• Usage information, such as features used and entries logged, used to operate and improve the service.
• If you subscribe to Noctuary Pro, purchase and subscription status provided by the app store and our payments partner. We don’t receive or store your full payment-card details.

How we use your information

• To create and manage your account.
• To store your entries and show you your own patterns and clusters.
• To provide and manage Noctuary Pro subscriptions.
• To operate, maintain, and improve the app.
• To provide support and respond to your requests.
• To comply with legal obligations.

How we share information

We share information only as needed to run Noctuary:

• Service providers. Vendors who help us operate the app — such as hosting, authentication, and subscription management — under obligations to protect your data.
• App stores and payments. When you subscribe to Noctuary Pro, the app store and our payments partner process the transaction and share subscription status with us.
• Legal and safety. When required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the service.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not sell or share your journal entries.

Your choices and rights

• You can review and edit your entries in the app.
• You can request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or port your data, or to object to certain processing.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we remove your entries and personal data as described on our Delete account page.

Children

Noctuary is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
